Time – Top Websites
For anyone who may be interested, these are Time’s top 50 websites. So many websites, so little time.
Blidgets
This is a site I am going to check out fairly soon – widgetbox. Creating widgets, or blidgets (blogs turned into widgets). Sounds like fun.
Telstra Next G
I have just upgraded to the new Telstra ‘Next G’ network, to try and improve my dial-in speed. I have a broadband mobile card..Initial indications are pretty good. I am getting a much better signal so hopefully my speed is going to improve!!
I had to create a new account and therefore change my email address (and pay for the priveledge). Telstra probably need to think about their customer service a bit more here, when a new customer gets a better deal than an existing one, but for now, if it helps me get internetting quicker, I am not going to complain. Will let you know how things go. :0)
RoboForm
Just an update on an earlier post about passwords. I am currently trialing RoboForm, which enables the logging of passwords, automatic logons and hopefully other useful features that I am yet to discover.
After googling for a few different password management options, this product seemed to be one of the most user friendly, so I am starting here with my 'beta testing'. Will let you know how the trials go. I really need something – forgot the password to my Money account on the weekend, very frustrating!
Manager’s Tools
My last thought of the day, before turning in for some rest. There are many tools and web applications that I am coming across in my general research, and many of these tools would assist Managers (in my opinion), to better organise, record and hopefully..therefore..manage
During my day tomorrow, I am going to think about what I am doing, that could be done better, that could, with the assistance of a web tool, be done more efficiently. Then I will set-about trying to find a product to review that will do this.
Challenging..sure..but I am up to the challenge. Stay tuned
